Levitt Dye Transfers



What a dope! Two dye transfer prints by Helen Levitt just sold on eBay for $300 apiece. These cycled through unsold several times at $300 and while I hemmed and then hawed these were snapped up. And with good reason! According to the seller they were made by the noted printer Frank Tartaro in New York City. An edition of three, with one of the prints going to Ms. Levitt herself.
